Search Tips
Choosing search options:
- "Match any word in the phrase" will give you broader results than "Match all words in the phrase." For example, if you enter the phrase gene test, "Match any word" will present results that include only gene and only test, as well as gene test. But "Match all words" will provide only results that include both words: gene test.
- "Include results that begin with the search word(s)" will yield broader results than choosing "Include only results that exactly match the search word(s)." If you choose the former ("begin with") option and type in gene" - or even just gen - your results will include not only "gene" but "genetics," "gene testing," and so on. Choose the "exact match" option and type gene, and your results will include only entries with the exact word gene.
- Choosing results options:
Both "Detailed results" and "Summary results" will list the same pages. The difference lies in the way those pages are described. "Summary results" shows the title of each page. "Detailed results" also includes a summary of what you'll find there.
